  17. <p>     Give her a beat--and anything else she wants. With that
  18. sentiment, Virgin Records last week wrapped up Janet Jackson
  19. for $32 million. In signing the largest record deal ever,
  20. Jackson, 24, left A&M Records, which saw her through four
  21. albums. But the Rhythm Nation queen's contract was up, and,
  22. courted by other labels, she gave in to Virgin chairman Richard
  23. Branson. Says he: "A Rembrandt rarely becomes available. When
  24. it does, there are many people who are determined to get it. I
  25. was determined." Brother Michael won't miss out on the dollar
  26. spree. He's expected to re-sign with Sony Music for as much as
  27. $60 million.
